Lake Powell water is at 3563' elevation.  Topozone map shows the 3700' water 
elevation extending above the junction of Coyote Gulch and the Escalante 
River, so we should be able to go several miles downstream before we hit the 
lake.  Therma-rest makes a good float anyway.
